It is with great regret that ELC announces the death of Ian Dunlop, former Academic Director and Governor of the school. Dr Dunlop MBE made a huge contribution to the development of ELC from the 1960s to the 1980s.

| ELC
students meet the Queen in Brighton |
|
The Queen paid a visit to Brighton on a beautifully sunny
8th March. A number of ELC students were lucky enough to get
within a few metres of her. Here we see Ju-Hee Kwon.

Her friend, Ji Yeon Lee, even exchanged a few words with
the Queen. When the Queen asked her what she was doing
here Ji Yeon explained that she was from South Korea and
that she was studying English.
